The Girls Squad
is targeted at middle and high
school inner-city girls to develop
tennis and life skills to help them
succeed in high school, college and
the rest of their lives.
The program teaches basic tennis
skills, game strategies, and mental
toughness on and off the courts.
The girls also meet once a week in
a Girls Circle to discuss concerns,
goals and other issues on their
minds.
The program meets on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30-7:15 throughout the school year. The winter session starts Tuesday January 12th and runs until Thursday March 18th!! |
